Lantern: Find What's Missing — last updated September 4, 2026
Lantern is private by default. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that stores your entries.
Everything you enter — your onboarding answers, journal reflections, mood check-ins, practice commitments and progress — is stored only on your device. We cannot read it. Deleting the app deletes it; "Reset" in Settings also erases it.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives a random app-generated identifier and your purchase status so the app can unlock Lantern and restore purchases. We never receive your name, email, or card details.
If you turn on the daily reminder, it is a local notification scheduled on your device. Turn it off in Settings or in iOS Settings at any time.
We do not collect analytics that identify you, we do not sell or share data, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Lantern's daily stories and practices are retold from the parables, psalms and teachings of the Bible in plain modern language. Lantern is a reflective wellness companion, not therapy or medical care. If you are struggling, please talk to a professional; if you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Lantern is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
