Lapis uses AI to estimate the identity of rocks, minerals, crystals, gemstones and fossils from photos, along with general educational and folklore information. It is a tool for curiosity and learning.
Identifications, "meaning," and value ranges are AI-generated estimates and can be wrong. They are not a professional gemological appraisal, and not financial, medical, or safety advice. Do not use Lapis to decide whether a stone is safe to handle, ingest, or purchase, or to appraise value for sale or insurance. Never eat, drink, or make any health decision based on a result. Consult a qualified professional for anything that matters.
Lapis Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings.
Use Lapis only for lawful, personal purposes. Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the service.
