Terms of Use

Stride: Count Steps, Not Calories — last updated September 4, 2026

By using Stride you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Stride is

Stride is a gentle step-tracking companion: daily step counts from your phone's motion sensor, adaptive goals, a walk log and quiet reminders. It is not medical care or a substitute for professional advice.

Not medical advice

Nothing in Stride is medical advice. Step counts from phone sensors are estimates. Consult a healthcare professional before starting a new activity routine, especially if you have a medical condition.

Subscriptions

Stride is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through Apple, with a free trial where offered. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account; subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Your responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your device secure.

Intellectual property

The app, its design and its content are owned by us and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimer and liability

Stride is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: tryformaapp@gmail.com.
