Wisp: Quit Vaping Buddy — last updated September 4, 2026
Wisp is built to be private by default. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that stores your quit data.
Everything you enter — your quit date, vaping habits, cost, reasons for quitting, your Wisp's name, slips, cravings, taper logs and stats — is stored only on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it. "Reset everything" in Settings also erases it.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives a random app-generated identifier and your purchase status so the app can unlock Wisp Pro and restore purchases. We never receive your name, email, or card details.
If you turn on reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device (daily check-ins and milestone moments). These are generated on your phone and are not sent through our servers. You can turn them off in Settings or in iOS Settings at any time.
We do not collect analytics that identify you, we do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Wisp shows general, widely published information about what happens after you stop nicotine. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Talk to a healthcare professional about quitting, especially if you are pregnant, under 18, or have a medical condition.
Wisp is intended for adults who want to quit vaping and is not directed at children under 13.
