You already know how to do this. You have never once compared yourself to Hanni. You do not know her comp and it has never occurred to you to find out. Having a view about how the world will go, and turning out to be right, is one of the cleaner pleasures available to a person. So call it. Where Kalshi runs the same question we put their price beside ours, because that is the crowd with money on it. The gap between the two is the entertainment.

The companies in the group chat got written about, which is precisely why you have heard of them; you have spent four years comparing yourself against a shortlist assembled by journalists. The other kind is far more common and almost entirely invisible. One person, a few hundred dollars, and something people pay for on a Tuesday. Nobody will report it, nobody will screenshot it, and it will quietly cover your rent. The whole of it fits in one weekend and one drawer.
