Privacy Policy
Trellis (“the app”) is published by Forma. Last updated 7 September 2026.
The short version
Trellis has no account and no server. Everything you type — the student’s name, activities, hours, schools, and which items you have ticked off — is stored only on your device, and is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot read it. If you delete the app, it is gone.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. We operate no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no crash reporting that carries your content.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Trellis Plus, the purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a random, app-generated identifier and your subscription status. It does not receive your name, your student’s name, your activities, or anything else you enter. Apple’s own handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Notifications
If you turn on the weekly reminder, notifications are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No push server is involved and nothing about their content leaves the phone.
Children
Trellis is rated for users aged 4 and up and is designed to be used by high school students and their parents. Because it collects nothing, no personal information is gathered from anyone of any age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. Settings → “Erase everything on this phone” removes all of it immediately. Deleting the app does the same.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
