The trading journal that shows you the tilt tax.

Log a trade in ten seconds. Tag how you felt going in. Set your rules once: daily loss limit, max trades, stop after two losses. Then Size Down shows you the number no broker will: what your account would be if you had followed them. Prop-firm evals included, with the real trailing-drawdown math.

The money you are chasing is mostly money you gave back after the stop point.

Works in any phone browser; add it to your home screen. iPhone App Store version is coming. Not financial advice: a journal for your own decisions.

What it does

  • Ten-second trade logSymbol, side, result, setup, how you felt, did you follow the plan. No broker login, no sync bugs, no missing trades. You type it; that is the part that works.
  • Your rules, in your wordsDaily loss limit. Max trades. Stop after two losses. Cool-off after a red trade. The app never blocks you; it shows you your own sentence at the moment you are about to break it.
  • The tilt taxEvery FOMO, revenge, tilted or rule-breaking trade summed, next to what disciplined-you made. By setup, by feeling, by hour, by weekday. It is usually the whole story.
  • Prop-firm eval trackerPresets for Apex, Topstep, FTMO, MyFundedFutures and FundedNext, or type your own. Static, end-of-day trailing and intraday trailing drawdown computed correctly. Buffer to the floor always on screen.
  • Daily plan and gradeWrite the plan before the open. Write what happened after the close. Grade the day A to F. A calendar heatmap of green, red and clean days.
  • Yours to keepCSV export with Pro. Lifetime is a single $79 charge, because a journal you rent is a journal you stop keeping.

Why this exists

The journals that exist are good and they are built for a desk. $29 to $49 a month, no free tier, a broker sync that breaks every few weeks, and a phone app that is an afterthought. Meanwhile the trades that blow accounts happen on a phone, at 11:40, after the second loss, with a voice saying one more.

Size Down is built for that moment. It is on your phone, it already knows your rules, and it asks one question before the trade is saved: did you follow the plan? Answering “no” and typing which rule you broke is the whole product. Everything else is arithmetic on your honesty.

Nobody gets to one million by making it back tonight.

Questions

Who is Size Down for?

Day traders, scalpers, futures and options traders, and anyone grinding prop-firm evals at Apex, Topstep, FTMO, MyFundedFutures or FundedNext. If you have ever said “one more trade” and meant it, this is for you.

Why not TradeZella or TraderSync?

They are good, and they cost $29 to $49 a month with no free tier and a mobile app that is a companion to the desktop. Size Down is mobile-first, has no broker sync to break, and is $9.99 a month or $79 once. You type your trades in. That is the point: typing “revenge trade, -$410” is the part that changes behaviour.

What is the tilt tax?

Every trade you tagged FOMO, revenge, tilted, bored, anxious or euphoric, or where you broke a rule you wrote, summed up. Next to it, what your account would look like if you had followed your rules. Most traders find the gap is bigger than their entire net loss.

How does the eval tracker work?

Pick your firm or type the rules, then attach trades to the eval. Size Down computes the profit target, the daily loss, the consistency rule and the drawdown floor with the right math for static, end-of-day trailing and intraday trailing drawdowns. The buffer to the floor is always on screen.

Does it connect to my broker?

No, on purpose. Broker sync is the number one complaint about every journal on the market: expired tokens, missing trades, wrong P&L. Size Down takes ten seconds of typing per trade and is never wrong about what you did. CSV export is included with Pro.

What does it cost?

Free: 30 trades a month, one eval, 7-day analytics. Pro: unlimited trades and evals, full analytics by setup, feeling, hour and weekday, CSV export. $9.99 a month, or $79 once for life. Checkout is by Stripe on the web, and you can cancel the monthly plan from your receipt.

Is this financial advice?

No. Size Down is a journal for your own decisions. It does not place trades, recommend trades or promise results.
